Favorite the paper edition you actually use
The Favorite toggle belongs to the exact Letter, A4, A5 or Half Letter edition shown. Marking Letter does not mark A4. Favorite-only results still respect your search, category and paper filters. Favorite selection never adds pages to the Tray.
Keep the list only when you choose
Favorites are held in memory for the open workspace. Export favorites writes a small JSON file containing catalog edition identifiers and source hashes only. Open favorites replaces the list after validation and confirmation when a list already exists. Personalized pages, names, search queries and image pixels are not part of this file.
Changed sources need review
Missing or changed sources stay visible in the issue list but are excluded from favorite results. No nearest version or other paper size is substituted. To adopt a changed edition, find the current edition, inspect it, and explicitly favorite it again. A list supports at most 500 entries and a 128 KiB import.
Use recipes for a finished packet
Favorites help you find editions. A catalog recipe saves packet choices such as quantity, page selection and order. Private generated pages still require their own explicit download or source-project save.
