What the Tray preserves
Pages keep the paper size of the files you chose. For mixed paper sizes, choose matching files or download separate packets. Keep required instructions and project pieces.
Know what stays separate
Linked notebooks and fillable originals may remain standalone. A selected static alternative does not contain values you typed into another PDF viewer. Arbitrary uploaded PDFs are not supported.
Choose layout deliberately
Multiple-up and booklet output reduce only explicitly scalable layouts. Exact-size labels, grids and constructions cannot be made compatible by forcing a scale flag. Booklet and duplex output still need a physical trial.
Save a recipe, not private text
Download your finished PDF before closing. A Tray recipe lets you reopen the same public file choices and print settings; it leaves out private Studio or Lab writing.
How a recipe keeps the same files
It records exact catalog edition IDs and source hashes, so a changed file cannot silently replace the one you chose.
