Use the linked maker notebook
The maker notebook is an internally linked PDF for organizing projects. Its tabs and directory help you move between sections; they do not create fillable fields.
Choose the intended edition
The tablet-oriented layout and A5 layout serve different uses. Open the selected edition’s preview to check page proportions and writing space. A5 is a prepared layout, not a promise that every digital notebook app uses A5 internally.
Test navigation first
Open the home or directory page, follow several section links and return. Try a month section and a project section. App behavior may depend on whether you are in reading or annotation mode. Keep the original file unchanged while testing.
Add writing in a compatible application
Handwriting, typing and drawing on top of the PDF depend on your chosen software. This library does not claim that internal links alone certify app compatibility. Annotate a sample page, save, close and reopen it before relying on the notebook for ongoing work.
Avoid breaking destinations
Deleting, duplicating or rearranging pages may affect links. Keep a backup and test the directory again after any structural changes. Do not assemble selected notebook pages into the Print Tray and assume all navigation will survive.
Use undated sections flexibly
Label a section for the period or project that suits your workflow. Keep separate project planning and review notes so a later review does not overwrite the original intention. The notebook is an organizational aid, not a record of results you have not actually observed.
