- Use a pencil or tracing paper to transfer the chosen drawing, or color the printed copy directly.
- For cutouts, work around the intended outer boundary. Interior lines are drawing details, not machine-cut instructions; tiny or disconnected pieces can require separate backing.
- Keep the original master intact when tracing repeatedly. Test delicate details on scrap before transferring to thicker or expensive material.
