Glider tracing and cutout studies / LETTER

Materials and construction

Plain paper for coloring or tracing; suitable card for loose cutouts; pencil or coloring materials, ruler and scissors.

Before making a batch

Measure the longest axis of a large drawing and a small drawing.

Inspect identifying features and small joins at 50 mm; record any confusing contour or fragile part.

Top view (outline): master 150.0 x 139.3 mm; 100 and 50 mm longest-axis versions also included.

From file to finished page

  1. Choose the view and size for the job. The large version uses a 150 mm longest drawing axis; the companion sheet provides 100 mm and 50 mm versions.
  2. Print the edition matching the paper at actual size (100%). Measure the 50 mm reference before transferring or cutting the artwork.
  3. Trace or color the interior marks as drawing details. For a loose cutout, cut the outer contour only; do not turn every detail line into a slit.
  4. Keep narrow appendages attached. Inspect the smallest version first and use a larger version when the intended material cannot hold a fine join.
  5. Label the back of reusable cutouts and store them flat. These files do not establish compatibility with cutting-machine hardware.
Printing and use notes

These are stylized craft studies, not anatomy, species-identification or technical engineering references.

Outline-for-tracing, solid silhouettes and loose cutouts are not automatically bridged multi-detail stencils. No cutter-ready claim is made.
