Materials and construction
Ordinary paper and a pencil. No cutting or adhesive is required.
Before making a batch
Check circle size and centre spacing.
Inspect all gap endpoints after printing.
Confirm the intended over-and-under pattern can be followed.

From file to finished page
- Treat the sheet as a tracing reference rather than a cutting pattern.
- Choose one circle and follow its visible arc segments around the ring.
- At a gap, find the crossing circle that passes visually over it. Do not fill in hidden segments automatically.
- Trace adjacent circles one at a time, preserving their different crossing order.
- Add colour on a separate sheet and check that the ring paths remain distinguishable.
