Complete Link a Journey - US Letter

A good fit for your idea?

Choose matching Letter or A4; both include the same guide, Start0/six-link record and twelve optional prompts.

Confirm a connection, then add the link

Start0 begins the sequence. Three confirmed links produce four observations; six produce seven.

Reporter names, Connector links and Recorder writes after another person confirms. Roles rotate only after a confirmed link.

A visible colour, shape, movement or pattern may connect observations. A shared use must already be known for both; unfamiliar purposes cannot be guessed.

Replace unavailable prompts or unclear claims together. Finish one finite chain, or mark an early end truthfully incomplete.

Guide, shared Start0/six-link record and 12 optional connection prompts.

Short:3 confirmed links/4 observations; long:6 links/7 observations.

Build a cooperative chain of observations linked by specific properties, confirmed by another person before recording.

Choose 3 confirmed links with 4 observations, or 6 links with 7. Start0 is never counted as a link.

From file to finished page

  1. Print on matching US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches) paper at 100% / actual size.
  2. Share one guide, one chain record and one optional prompt set. Page 3 may remain uncut.
  3. Read page 1 before play. Choose the goal, roles and one visible Start0. Use the shared page-2 record.
  4. Connect each new observation to the immediately preceding one using an observable or already-known shared property. Another person explicitly confirms before recording.
  5. Rotate roles only after confirmed links. Unavailable prompts and unclear claims add no row or role change.
  6. Finish exactly at the chosen goal, read the chain aloud and choose a favourite connection. If time ends early, mark Paused/incomplete and the exact count, or restart explicitly.
Printing and use notes

For 2-6 passengers or safely stationary groups. A driver does not participate while driving.

No guessed unseen details, consecutive identical observations, score or extra rounds. Prompts are optional, with labelled journey memories as replacements.

Optional solo practice uses a Self-labelled check. A helper may read or scribe exact words; pointing and cutting are optional.
