Materials and construction

Ordinary paper for a first trial; scissors; ruler; a blunt scoring tool; a small amount of paper adhesive.

Before making a batch

Check that no adhesive remains inside the top opening.

Test actual wrapped cutlery without forcing it.

Check the lower seam while resting flat on the table.

Side seam: 10 mm; lower joining flap: 12 mm.

No gusset or reinforced base is included.

From file to finished page

Cut the outer net, retaining the side and lower joining flaps.
Score the middle, side seam and lower flap folds.
Fold the second panel behind the first and join the side seam. Leave the top edge open.
Fold the lower flap across the back and let the adhesive set fully.
Test a wrapped, clean trial setting. Keep paper and adhesive away from food and from the eating surfaces.
