Log-log plotting paper
Use a log-log guide for data that you intend to plot with logarithmic spacing on both axes. Add clear units and range labels before entering values.
Paper & writing
Use a semilogarithmic guide for work that needs different scale behavior on the two axes. Check the printed axis structure and supply the values required by your task.

Semilogarithmic plotting paper / LETTER
Confirm which axis is logarithmic in the actual file; do not infer it solely from the title.
Plotting on a special grid is not a substitute for checking units and values. Define the axis convention and the represented range before entering points. This is working paper, not a tool that validates a model or forecasts a result.
Choose a vertical scale; horizontal values use powers of ten.
Make one trial on ordinary paper before using special stock or preparing a batch. No physical test result is claimed.
