Complete Egg Inventory - US Letter
A good fit for your idea?
Choose matching Letter or A4 paper. Both include the same 24 coded tokens and four-page inventory workflow.
Check IDs, not just totals
Choose an expected set before play: all 24 IDs, the first three in each category for 12, or a marked exact custom subset.
The host records placement locations; the team records physical pieces and every observed ID, including repeats. The final audit separates missing IDs, duplicate selected copies and unselected extras.
A clearly separate six-piece checking example shows why equal totals and category counts can still conceal a missing ID and a duplicate.

Host, team and reconciliation records plus 24 coded eggs.
Full 24, short 12 or an exact custom expected inventory.
Check every collected egg ID against the exact selected inventory, not just the physical total or category counts.
Four pages include host locations, a team occurrence log, 24 coded tokens and a final audit with a separate worked checking example.
From file to finished page
- Print on matching US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches) paper at 100% / actual size.
- Choose full 24, short 12 or a custom exact subset. Mark the same mode and IDs on pages 1 and 2 before play.
- Print each page once. Cut only selected page-3 egg outlines, check every selected ID occurs once, record the initial count and host locations, then place or use a tabletop.
- Count collected physical pieces, then record every observed ID occurrence on page 2, including repeats and unknown or unselected extras.
- Use page 4 to identify missing expected IDs, duplicate selected occurrences and unselected extra copies. Recover missing pieces with the host location record and remove duplicates/extras.
- Mark Complete only when every selected ID occurs exactly once with no extras. Otherwise mark the final audit Unresolved and record what remains.
Printing and use notes
Short mode is A1-A3, B1-B3, C1-C3 and D1-D3. Custom requires an explicit chosen set; host and team selections must agree.
A category-balanced six-piece example has B1 repeated and B2 missing. Equal totals and category counts do not establish completion.
Use paper tokens in permitted reachable spots or on a tabletop. No clue route, maths race, purchases, real eggs or reward are required.
