Treehouse tracing and cutout studies / LETTER

A good fit for your idea?

Letter and A4 preserve the component dimensions. Choose the sheet you will print, not a different object size.

Materials and construction

Plain paper for coloring or tracing; suitable card for loose cutouts; pencil or coloring materials, ruler and scissors.

Before making a batch

Measure the longest axis of a large drawing and a small drawing.

Inspect identifying features and small joins at 50 mm; record any confusing contour or fragile part.

Portrait

Tree-supported front elevation: 150 mm and paired 100/50 mm longest-axis views.

Tree-supported side elevation: 150 mm and paired 100/50 mm longest-axis views.

From file to finished page

  1. Print the matching Letter or A4 packet at actual size (100%) and check the 50 mm bar.
  2. Compare the tree-supported front elevation and tree-supported side elevation views before tracing.
  3. Trace or color the printed details; follow the outer contour only for a loose cutout.
Printing and use notes

These are stylized craft studies, not anatomy, species-identification or technical engineering references.

Outline-for-tracing, solid silhouettes and loose cutouts are not automatically bridged multi-detail stencils. No cutter-ready claim is made.
