The sample uses a 5 mm triangle-edge length. Horizontal rows are closer together than that edge length; those measures are not interchangeable.

What you can adjust
The spacing control is the equilateral triangle edge, 3–20 mm. Lines are clipped to the usable drawing window.
Choose Letter, A4, A5 or Half Letter and portrait or landscape. A paper profile being supported does not mean every parameter combination fits it; invalid layouts stop export.
What this tool does not promise
This is a sketch guide, not a dimensioned engineering drawing. Give any real object its own explicit dimensions.
