Plan the reading sequence while the strip is flat
A concertina alternates fold directions. Write a light pencil page order before making the final messages so the sequence reads correctly when the strip opens.
Attach only the designated first panel to the wallet. Adhesive between the later panels prevents the strip from unfolding.

From file to finished page
- Choose the paper size loaded in your printer and open the matching PDF.
- Print the matching paper edition at actual size (100%). Measure the printed 50 mm line before cutting. The screen preview is not a measurement test.
- Cut the four-panel insert and wallet cover. Keep the closure tab and open the indicated receiving slot.
- Fold the insert at 40, 80 and 120 mm in alternating directions to form a concertina. Keep the writing sides in the intended reading order.
- Crease the wallet around its back, spine and front panels, then fold the closure tongue inward.
- Attach only the first concertina panel to the inner back of the wallet. The other three panels must unfold freely.
- Add short messages before closing the wallet. Slip the tongue into the receiving slot without forcing the paper.
Printing and use notes
The dimensions describe the flat pattern and fold lines, not guaranteed internal capacity.
Physical printing, fit and assembly have not been tested. Make a scrap-paper trial before using special stock.
This is a decorative or organizational paper project, not protective shipping packaging, food-contact material or a load-rated container.
