Plan the reading sequence while the strip is flat
A concertina alternates fold directions. Write a light pencil page order before making the final messages so the sequence reads correctly when the strip opens.
Attach only the designated first panel to the wallet. Adhesive between the later panels prevents the strip from unfolding.

A four-panel, 40 x 82 mm concertina message insert inside a wraparound wallet with a 10 mm spine.
From file to finished page
- Cut the insert and cover. Keep the broad flap. Leave the narrow rectangular slot mark UNCUT.
- Fold the insert at 40, 80 and 120 mm in alternating directions. Keep messages in reading order.
- Crease the wallet back, 10 mm spine and front. Wrap the broad flap around the outside.
- Attach only insert panel 1 to INNER BACK. Panels 2 to 4 must unfold freely.
- Add messages. Hold the outside flap with a separate loose band or ribbon; it does not tuck into the slot. Print at actual size and check the 50 mm bar. The slot is not a cut or closure. Trial-fold and fit before making more. with a 10 mm spine.
Printing and use notes
The dimensions describe the flat pattern and fold lines, not guaranteed internal capacity.
Physical printing, fit and assembly have not been tested. Make a scrap-paper trial before using special stock.
