Materials and construction
Plain paper for a first trial, a ruler, scissors and a blunt scoring tool; adult help for internal cuts.
Before making a batch
Measure the 50 mm reference and at least two named panel dimensions.
Assemble an empty plain-paper trial; record closure, seam, clearance and material behavior.

Cone sector radius: 84 mm; angle 165 degrees; joining tab 7 mm.
Ideal paper-surface cone: base diameter 77.00 mm and height 74.66 mm before material/adhesive effects.
From file to finished page
- Cut the sector with its narrow seam tab attached. Gently curl the paper without creasing the curved surface flat.
- Bring the plain radial edge over the shaded seam tab, aligning the point and curved rim endpoints. Glue this overlap and let it dry around a plain-paper trial former.
- The wide rim remains open; no bottom disc is supplied. Check that the seam lies flat before adding a dry, lightweight display insert.
- Keep stems and moisture inside a separate suitable holder. Fit this decorative paper wrap outside the holder; do not use paper as a water container or carrying sleeve.

Do not place valuable, wet, hot or breakable items in an unreviewed paper prototype.
