Materials and construction
Plain paper for a first trial, a ruler, scissors and a blunt scoring tool; adult help for internal cuts.
Before making a batch
Measure the 50 mm reference and at least two named panel dimensions.
Assemble an empty plain-paper trial; record closure, seam, clearance and material behavior.

Pointed liner widths: 82, 72 and 62 mm, with body depths 55, 48 and 42 mm. Each peak adds 25 mm.
From file to finished page
- Choose a liner narrower than the actual envelope interior. These are masters, not universal brand-size fits.
- Print at actual size, cut the perimeter and fold at the flap line.
- Dry-fit inside the envelope with a clear margin around its sealing edge. Trim a plain trial if the original flap has a different curve.
- Attach only the liner flap with a light adhesive layer. Keep envelope sealing surfaces and openings clear.
Printing and use notes
Nominal drawing dimensions are not a tested usable-capacity, load, mailing, food-contact or archival specification.
Do not place valuable, wet, hot or breakable items in an unreviewed paper prototype.
