Materials and construction
Ordinary paper for a first trial; scissors; ruler; a blunt scoring tool; a small amount of paper adhesive.
Before making a batch
Check that the bottom seam has continuous contact.
Test the actual intended contents and top clearance.
Record the stock and adhesive used; inspect for seam opening.

Two main panels: 65 x 120 mm.
Bottom flap: 12 mm; side seam: 10 mm.
Top closure zone: 20 mm.
From file to finished page
- Cut the full outline and score the vertical seam, bottom and top-fold lines.
- Fold the second panel behind the first. Join the side seam with a narrow adhesive line, leaving the mouth open.
- Fold and glue the bottom flap across the back. Keep adhesive out of the pocket and let it set flat.
- Insert a light paper trial item. The bag has no side gussets and is not meant to stretch.
- Fold the top down at the 20 mm guide and close with removable paper tape or a loose paper seal.
