Plan the opening
Decide which face carries the main message and keep bulky decoration clear of the meeting edges. Test the closed position before adding a separate insert.

A 180 x 130 mm gate-fold base with panel widths 45, 90, 45 mm.
From file to finished page
- Choose the paper size loaded in your printer and open the matching PDF.
- Print at actual size (100%) on the matching paper. Measure the 50 mm reference line on a physical trial; a screen ruler is not a print check.
- Cut around the outer rectangle. Score only the dashed fold lines before decorating the blank panels.
- Fold both 45 mm side panels inward over the 90 mm center. Their outer edges should meet without overlap.
- Use as a card base or a small invitation jacket. Add an insert smaller than the 90 x 130 mm center and test the fold clearance.
- Check the finished folds on scrap first. These dimensions do not establish compatibility with a commercial card or envelope size.
