Materials and construction
Plain paper; scissors; ruler; pencil; paper glue.
Before making a batch
Record the trial bundle width, height and thickness.
Confirm both straps retain at least 15 mm of overlap.
Check removal without bending the notes.

Cover panel: 80 x 65 mm.
Two straps: 180 x 22 mm and 160 x 22 mm.
End joining zones: 15 mm; final overlap is set by the trial bundle.
From file to finished page
- Cut the cover and both straps, keeping the shaded 15 mm end zones attached.
- Cross the 180 mm and 160 mm straps at right angles beneath your note bundle.
- Fold the ends around the bundle and mark each overlap. Both straps need at least 15 mm of overlap; use fewer notes if either falls short.
- Glue each strap to itself at the overlap. Keep glue off the notes and leave enough room to slide them out.
- Glue the cover to the front of the crossed straps. Let it dry, then remove and reinsert the notes to check the fit.
