A separate curved two-loop strip, fishtail backing and 16 x 50 mm center wrap for a layered paper bow.

From file to finished page

  1. Choose the paper size loaded in your printer and open the matching PDF.
  2. Print at actual size (100%) on the matching paper. Measure the 50 mm reference line on a physical trial; a screen ruler is not a print check.
  3. Cut the loop strip, tail layer and center wrap. Keep the narrow ends of the loop strip intact.
  4. Curve the left lobe inward without crushing it and glue its end tab at the middle waist. Repeat for the right lobe so two open loops meet in the center.
  5. Place the completed loop piece over the separate tail layer, matching their centers.
  6. Wrap the narrow strip around the middle from front to back, trim excess only after trial fitting, and glue its end to itself.
  7. Use as a decorative paper bow, not a handle. Test the geometry with ordinary paper before preparing special stock.
