Materials and construction
Plain paper for a first trial, a ruler, scissors and a blunt scoring tool; adult help for internal cuts.
Before making a batch
Measure the 50 mm reference and at least two named panel dimensions.
Assemble an empty plain-paper trial; record closure, seam, clearance and material behavior.

Body face: 74.00 x 50.00 mm; traced perimeter 196.47 mm; wall depth 22 mm.
Lid face: 76.39 x 52.39 mm; traced perimeter 204.00 mm; wall depth 12 mm.
From file to finished page
- Cut each face and numbered band with its small tabs attached. Score the tab hinges.
- Join each matching set of numbered bands at the 8 mm seams, in the printed order. Keep Body and Lid sets separate.
- Curve the wall strip around its matching face. Crease at actual outline corners and fit the small tabs behind the face before applying adhesive.
- Glue the tabs to the back of the Body face. Assemble the separate larger Lid face and its shorter wall strip the same way, then let both pieces dry before fitting the lid.
- Check every seam and corner on an empty trial. Do not stretch the band or force a tight lid to conceal a mismatch.
Printing and use notes
Nominal drawing dimensions are not a tested usable-capacity, load, mailing, food-contact or archival specification.
Do not place valuable, wet, hot or breakable items in an unreviewed paper prototype.
