Paper woven basket strips / LETTER
Letter and A4 preserve the component dimensions. Choose the sheet you will print, not a different object size.
Ordinary paper for a first trial; scissors; ruler; a blunt scoring tool; a small amount of paper adhesive.
Count eight base strips, three wall bands and one rim.
Check all wall-band overlaps remain 10 mm.
Inspect the base weave, corner turns and rim before use.
Eight base strips: 100 x 10 mm; folds at 30 and 70 mm.
Three wall bands: 170 x 10 mm, including 10 mm overlap.
Rim: 170 x 5 mm. Nominal floor: 40 x 40 mm.
Miniature weaving study, not a carrying basket, food container or load-tested structure.
Physical assembly is required to validate the weave and material thickness.
