Materials and construction
Plain paper for a first trial, a ruler, scissors and a blunt scoring tool; adult help for internal cuts.
Before making a batch
Measure the 50 mm reference and at least two named panel dimensions.
Assemble an empty plain-paper trial; record closure, seam, clearance and material behavior.

Basket base: 64 x 48 mm with 22 mm walls. Handle strip: 170 x 16 mm with two 20 mm fixing zones.
From file to finished page
- Cut the body and separate handle, retaining all corner tabs.
- Score and raise the four body walls. Glue each shaded corner tab behind the adjacent wall.
- Curve the handle without folding its center. Fold its two 20 mm fixing zones and glue them to the insides of opposite walls.
- Let the handle bonds dry while the basket remains supported. Use the finished model for display and carry it by supporting the base.
Printing and use notes
Nominal drawing dimensions are not a tested usable-capacity, load, mailing, food-contact or archival specification.
Do not place valuable, wet, hot or breakable items in an unreviewed paper prototype.
