Keep the hinge free
A hinged lid depends on a clean back crease rather than a thick line of adhesive. Fold the back first, then check the closure flap against the front wall.
Open both ribbon slots before building the tray, and test their alignment with a short scrap strip. Extra paper thickness can change how the flap sits.

From file to finished page
- Choose the paper size loaded in your printer and open the matching PDF.
- Print the matching paper edition at actual size (100%). Measure the printed 50 mm line before cutting. The screen preview is not a measurement test.
- Cut the body net and separate liner. Keep the corner glue tabs, back hinge, lid panel and front closure flap.
- Open the paired 10 x 2 mm ribbon slots. The slots pass through the closure flap and front wall, not the base.
- Crease all dashed lines. Raise the tray walls and glue each corner tab behind its adjacent wall, keeping the back hinge free.
- Fold the lid over the back wall and the front flap down over the front wall. Close it gently and confirm the paired slot positions overlap.
- Thread a short loose ribbon through the aligned slots and tie an easily released bow. The ribbon is a decorative closure, not a lifting handle.
Printing and use notes
The dimensions describe the flat pattern and fold lines, not guaranteed internal capacity.
Physical printing, fit and assembly have not been tested. Make a scrap-paper trial before using special stock.
