Keep the sample and its reference together
Small swatch cards can carry an identifier and a short note while a separate record stores longer details. Do not add bulky samples before checking the folder can still close.
The paper pocket is an organizer, not a material test. It does not establish colorfastness, washability or archival suitability for a sample attached to it.

A 90 x 125 mm two-pocket sample folder with four 72 x 48 mm mounting cards and a notes panel.
From file to finished page
- Choose the paper size loaded in your printer and open the matching PDF.
- Print the matching paper edition at actual size (100%). Measure the printed 50 mm line before cutting. The screen preview is not a measurement test.
- Cut the folded cover, pockets and four mounting cards. Keep pocket tabs and do not cut the writing rules.
- Fold the cover and mount the two pockets on its inner faces, gluing only the side and bottom tabs.
- Attach a small lightweight swatch to the blank upper area of each mounting card using an appropriate removable method.
- Write source, date and material notes below the sample. Do not infer lightfastness, fire performance or composition from the paper record.
- Put two cards in each pocket for a trial. Bulky fabric or layered materials may need a wider spine than this flat folder.
Printing and use notes
The dimensions describe the flat pattern and fold lines, not guaranteed internal capacity.
Physical printing, fit and assembly have not been tested. Make a scrap-paper trial before using special stock.
This is a decorative or organizational paper project, not protective shipping packaging, food-contact material or a load-rated container.
