Keep the moving channel clear
The two rails establish the route for the narrow strip. Work with dry rails before adding the front so trapped glue does not turn the slider into a fixed card.
The supplied end stops limit the intended travel. Place a message only after testing what the window reveals at each end of that travel.

A 104 x 76 mm reveal card with a 64 x 22 mm window, two internal rails and a sliding message strip.
From file to finished page
- Choose the paper size loaded in your printer and open the matching PDF.
- Print the matching paper edition at actual size (100%). Measure the printed 50 mm line before cutting. The screen preview is not a measurement test.
- Cut the front frame, back panel, two rails, slider strip and end stops. Remove the window from the front only.
- Glue the two 6 mm rails onto the marked upper and lower guide zones on the back panel. Keep the central 24 mm channel clear.
- Write a short message inside the slider viewing zone. Slide the strip between the dry rails with its pull end extending to the right.
- Attach the two stop tabs only at the indicated slider ends, then fix the front frame over the rails without gluing the slider itself.
- Pull gently through the nominal 36 mm stop-limited travel range and check the message alignment. Adjust on scrap; extra card thickness can bind the channel.
Printing and use notes
The dimensions describe the flat pattern and fold lines, not guaranteed internal capacity.
Physical printing, fit and assembly have not been tested. Make a scrap-paper trial before using special stock.
This is a decorative or organizational paper project, not protective shipping packaging, food-contact material or a load-rated container.
