From file to finished page
- Choose the paper size loaded in your printer and open the matching PDF.
- Print at actual size (100%) on the matching paper. Measure the 50 mm reference line on a physical trial; a screen ruler is not a print check.
- Cut both full profiles. Interior bold lines are single slits, not cutout rectangles.
- Cut profile A from its top edge to the center endpoint. Cut profile B from its bottom edge to the center endpoint. Do not cut beyond either stop.
- Slide the two slits into one another at right angles. Keep the outlines aligned and work slowly to avoid tearing.
- If the card is too thick, widen each slit slightly on a spare copy rather than forcing the join.
- Use the resulting crossed-profile ornament as a lightweight display. It is an open two-plane construction, not a closed solid shell.
Printing and use notes
Make a scrap-paper trial before using special material or producing a batch.
Digital geometry does not establish physical assembly, durable joins, material fit or compatibility with a particular product.
