Print all five pages at 100% / actual size on matching US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches) paper. Check the 50 mm bar. Reprint the page 1 square once per trial or cut measured blank 120 mm squares. Keep the page 3 answers face down until predictions are recorded.

Winter Fold-Cut Lab - US Letter
A good fit for your idea?
Choose matching Letter or A4. Both five-page papers contain the same exact three trials and separate answer page.
Predict, test and explain
The separate face-up guide makes cut placement independent of which original printed surface is visible after folding. Keep the answer page face down until predictions are recorded.

Three exact fold-edge/free-edge/fold-corner trials with checked transform answers.
One connected retained sheet per specified trial; blank designs remain unchecked until tested.
From file to finished page
- Print all five pages at 100% / actual size on matching US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches) paper. Check the 50 mm bar. Reprint the page 1 square once per trial or cut measured blank 120 mm squares. Keep the page 3 answers face down until predictions are recorded.
- Predict on page 4 before viewing the page 3 answers. Print matching paper at actual size; use a fresh 120 mm square for each trial.
- Fold the left half right, then the lower half up. Match both fold edges at the lower-left corner of a separate face-up page 2 guide.
- Cut out each separate guide first. Hold or lightly attach only in KEEP. Cut its shaded discard through the folded stack, remove the disposable guide and unfold.
- Compare with the reduced answers and correct one explanation. Try one bounded blank design on page 5, keeping at least 10 mm of connected retained paper.
Printing and use notes
Three specified results are digitally derived. No physical or participant test is claimed.
Guides are disposable extra sheets, removed before unfolding. Answers are reduced diagrams, not cutting templates.
Blank designs have no promised checked result. Two reflection axes do not imply that every cut has 90-degree rotational symmetry.
