Materials and construction
Ordinary paper for a first trial; scissors; ruler; a blunt scoring tool; a small amount of paper adhesive.
Before making a batch
Measure the 30 / 30 / 60 / 30 / 30 mm panel sequence.
Check the two inner folded edges meet without overlap pressure.
Test closing with any planned decoration.

Flat base: 180 x 100 mm.
Panels across the width: 30 / 30 / 60 / 30 / 30 mm.
Nominal closed face: 60 x 100 mm.
From file to finished page
- Cut the rectangle and score the four vertical dashed lines.
- Fold the left 60 mm wing inward at the second crease. Fold its outer 30 mm panel back on itself.
- Repeat on the right: bring the 60 mm wing inward, then return its outer 30 mm panel outward.
- Close the two inner wings over the central panel. Their folded edges should meet at its centre without forcing.
- Add lightweight decoration only after dry-folding. Keep raised additions away from the fold and meeting edges.
