A small box with a pinch closure
The triangular end faces hinge upright above the narrow walls. Their sloping edges match the broad roof panels. Do not add an inverted-V fold or bend the end triangles to force the grip tabs together.
Prepare a dry sample before decorating the broad faces. The tab holes are a closure detail; the pattern does not establish handle strength.

A 42 x 28 mm rectangular base, 60 mm walls and a folded gable closure with paired grip tabs.
From file to finished page
- Choose the paper size loaded in your printer and open the matching PDF.
- Print the matching paper edition at actual size (100%). Measure the printed 50 mm line before cutting. The screen preview is not a measurement test.
- Cut the body around its outer contour and open only the two marked handle slots. Keep the bottom flaps and 8 mm side-seam tab.
- Crease the four vertical wall lines, bottom hinges and roof hinges. The narrow roof ends are cut as triangles; do not add diagonal crease lines across those faces.
- Join the 8 mm side tab behind the opposite body edge, aligning the top and bottom wall lines to make a rectangular tube.
- Fold the two small bottom flaps inward, then close the large back flap. Glue the remaining large front flap over it; do not glue the base to the side walls.
- Raise the narrow triangular roof ends upright above their walls. Fold the two broad roof panels inward until their grip tabs meet at the ridge. The roof ends have no glue seal; keep the first closure removable.
- The roof slant is 25 mm, spanning half of the 28 mm depth; the nominal roof rise is about 20.7 mm. Crease and fit on scrap first, and carry any contents by supporting the base.
Printing and use notes
The dimensions describe the flat pattern and fold lines, not guaranteed internal capacity.
Physical printing, fit and assembly have not been tested. Make a scrap-paper trial before using special stock.
