Materials and construction
Plain paper for a first trial, a ruler, scissors and a blunt scoring tool; adult help for internal cuts.
Before making a batch
Measure the 50 mm reference and at least two named panel dimensions.
Assemble an empty plain-paper trial; record closure, seam, clearance and material behavior.

Two 64 x 91 mm panels, 14 mm bottom joining tab and 8 mm side seam.
Top closure band: 20 mm.
From file to finished page
- Cut the net and score the center panel fold, bottom tab hinge and top closure hinge. Cut the marked top holes before assembly.
- Fold the two main panels face to face and glue the 8 mm shaded side seam behind the opposite panel. Keep adhesive out of the pocket.
- Fold the 14 mm bottom tab over the opposite panel and glue its shaded area. Leave the top opening free.
- Loosely lace a short ribbon through the top holes, working around the opening, and tie without gathering the paper tightly. Untie it to reopen.
- Test repeated opening with an expendable, dry paper insert. Support the pouch from underneath; the closure is not a carrying loop.
Printing and use notes
Nominal drawing dimensions are not a tested usable-capacity, load, mailing, food-contact or archival specification.
Do not place valuable, wet, hot or breakable items in an unreviewed paper prototype.
