Choose the footprint before the closure

A polygon box gives a small presentation a recognizable shape, but the edge length is not the same as the space across the center. Compare the base outline with a scrap version of the intended item before making the wall band.

The base and lid use different perimeter pieces. Keep their markings together and avoid correcting a tight lid by crushing the base corners; trial the material and revise the source dimensions instead.

Choose the paper size loaded in your printer and open the matching PDF.
Print the matching paper edition at actual size (100%). Measure the printed 50 mm line before cutting. The screen preview is not a measurement test.
Cut the 3-panel wall band and both polygon bases. Keep the marked 8 mm end tab and the 3 bottom attachment tabs.
Crease the vertical panel hinges and bottom tabs. Close the wall band by attaching the side tab behind the first wall, keeping the fold lines aligned.
Fold the lower tabs inward and seat the matching base polygon above them. Glue each tab underneath the base, then add the supplied inner liner disk/polygon to cover the seams.
Build the lid from its own slightly longer band and larger polygon, with its tabs turned inward. Match only pieces marked LID.
The lid is offset outward by 0.8 mm normal to every base edge; this is a trial allowance, not verified stock clearance. Let the adhesive set before testing the fit.
Keep the first lid loose rather than forcing it. Record paper thickness and fold behavior before reproducing the box.

Printing and use notes

The dimensions describe the flat pattern and fold lines, not guaranteed internal capacity.

Physical printing, fit and assembly have not been tested. Make a scrap-paper trial before using special stock.
