Materials and construction
Plain paper for a first trial, a ruler, scissors and a blunt scoring tool; adult help for internal cuts.
Before making a batch
Measure the 50 mm reference and at least two named panel dimensions.
Assemble an empty plain-paper trial; record closure, seam, clearance and material behavior.

4 wall panels, each 34 mm wide; height between main end folds 52 mm; seam flap 8 mm.
From file to finished page
- Cut the perimeter and score all marked panel and flap hinges.
- Fold the four walls into a square tube. Glue the 8 mm shaded side flap behind the first wall and keep the tube square while it dries.
- Fold two opposite bottom flaps inward, then fold the other pair over them. Glue the overlapping bottom areas and let the empty carton dry on a flat surface.
- Cut the two rectangular top slots. Fold the triangular roof panels inward and bring the two taller slotted panels together. Pass a short ribbon through the aligned slots and tie loosely to close; the paper top is decorative, not a carrying handle.

Do not place valuable, wet, hot or breakable items in an unreviewed paper prototype.
