Materials and construction

Plain paper for a first trial, a ruler, scissors and a blunt scoring tool; adult help for internal cuts.

Before making a batch

Measure the 50 mm reference and at least two named panel dimensions.

Assemble an empty plain-paper trial; record closure, seam, clearance and material behavior.

From file to finished page

Cut each face and numbered band with its small tabs attached. Score the tab hinges.
Join the numbered bands at their 8 mm seams in the printed order to form one complete wall strip.
Curve the wall strip around its matching face. Crease at actual outline corners and fit the small tabs behind the face before applying adhesive.
Glue one row of small tabs behind the first face. Align the second face with the remaining tabs and glue it on last to close the model.
Check every seam and corner on an empty trial. Do not stretch the band or force a tight lid to conceal a mismatch.

Do not place valuable, wet, hot or breakable items in an unreviewed paper prototype.
