Weekly meal planning sheet / LETTER
Plan dinners around what you have
Use this sheet to turn existing food and a busy week into a short meal plan. Start with just three dinners; Breakfast and Lunch can stay blank until you need them.
A worked start
In Meals to use first, write “rice and two carrots.” Put “rice bowls” in Monday’s Dinner cell and “chop carrots” in Prep ahead. Add only the missing ingredients to Shopping list. These are example entries for your own meals.
Choose and continue
Choose the one-page US Letter or A4 print PDF to match your paper, then write by hand. Check one cupboard with the pantry inventory before making the final list. For appointments, people and shared tasks, the family weekly overview has the more useful columns.

Use this sheet in a weekly routine
Plan meals, check existing items, write only the missing items on a shopping list, then carry one dated note into next week. The three-sheet starter uses this weekly meal planning sheet with the other two sheets on matching A4 or US Letter paper.
