Materials and construction

Plain paper for a first trial, a ruler, scissors and a blunt scoring tool; adult help for internal cuts.

Before making a batch

Measure the 50 mm reference and at least two named panel dimensions.

Assemble an empty plain-paper trial; record closure, seam, clearance and material behavior.

Square collar: 95 x 95 mm with 55 mm nominal circular opening and an access slit.

From file to finished page

  1. Cut the square perimeter, 55 mm circular opening and access slit to the edge.
  2. Open the slit gently and fit the collar around a suitable trial neck. Keep the paper away from contents and wet surfaces.
  3. Close the access slit with a removable seal if needed. Measure the actual neck before using the intended container.
