Materials and construction
Ordinary paper for a first trial; scissors; ruler; a blunt scoring tool; a small amount of paper adhesive.
Before making a batch
Measure both main panels and the spine gap.
Check the two pocket mouths stay open.
Record actual sample dimensions and closing clearance.

Two main panels: 75 x 90 mm; spine: 5 mm.
Lower pockets: 30 mm high.
Outside joining tabs: 10 mm.
From file to finished page
- Cut the complete outline and the small separation at the bottom of the spine.
- Score both spine lines, the lower pocket folds and the two outer tab folds.
- Fold both lower pockets upward. Fold their outer tabs around the back of the corresponding main panel.
- Glue only those outer tabs. Keep the pocket mouths and spine clear.
- Insert two small paper samples, close the folder and check that the pockets do not catch at the spine.
